Effect of varieties and spacing on growth, physiological attributes and yield of onion under South Gujarat condition

The experiment was conducted to find out the effect of spacing and varieties on onion at Navsari Agricultural University during year 2020-21 2021-22. arranged over 12 treatment combinations comprising three (V1: GJRO-11, V2: Agrifound Light Red V3: NHRDF Red-3) 4 levels (S1: 15 cm × 7.5 cm, S2: 10 S3: 12.5 S4: cm) in factorial randomized block design (RBD) with replications. Among varieties, GJRO-11 variety superior growth physiological parameters viz. plant height, leaf area, crop rate, relative absolute rate biomass duration.
